Is your child not sleeping? Or do they go down in your arms to pop up once you put them down? Or do they sleep well but only for a few hours? Have you checked for signs of teething? We have a whole other blog post on what signs to look for but here we want to help you have the tools you need.
I can speak from experience in this area. But every child is different. What works for one might not work for the other.
Our baby girl started teething young, at 3 months. Teeth didn't pop through until 6 months though but that is a lot of time of discomfort. We found she LOVED chewing on leather. Being a horse family we knew what chemicals leather can usually have in it so we found a SAFE, CLEAN, and actually BENEFICIAL leather.
Vegetable tanned leather is used with nature found tannins such as tree bark and leaves, and flowers. We use a mimosa tree tanned leather. At small portions mimosa tree has benefits full of antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins A & C, and minerals including Magnesium, Calcium, and Zinc. Which all helps boost the immune system, is a natural anti-fungal, and fight inflammation.
This is the leather we used for our daughter and what we use for Buckaroo Chew.
We wanted more help with teething though so we made it even better. Chamomile and tallow are both amazing super ingredients to our Chews. Chamomile is anti-inflammatory, soothing/calming, and have shown to help with colic!
Tallow has so many benefits including vital vitamins, minerals, anti oxidants, and proteins essential to your babies brain development.
We took these super foods and combined them, working them into the leather we now have our most helpful teething hack- Buckaroo Chew.
Not only that, but we put the chamomile tallow directly onto the gums on the roughest days and it would stop the crying immediately. I knew the benefits of it but seeing it in action was so amazing.
When our daughter lost interest in the Chew, we would add the chamomile tallow onto the back again and she would be gnawing on it once more.
So the best hack? Buckaroo Chew. Hands down. Made from a mama who has been in your shoes and wants the healthiest best options for babies.
