What’s inside
• Grass Fed Beef Tallow — a rich, time-honored fat that’s been used to condition and protect leather for generations. Ours is food-grade and pre-rendered, from suppliers we trust.
• Powdered Chamomile — a gentle flowering botanical we infuse into the balm for its soft, natural character.
How to use
A little goes a long way. When your teether starts to look dry, rub a small amount into the leather and let it soak in. That keeps the vegetable-tanned leather conditioned, supple, and ready for the next set of little hands. Apply to the leather only.
Why we made it
We started Buckaroo Chew because we were tired of plastic, phthalate-filled teethers and wanted something honest for our own kiddos — natural materials, made in the USA, cared for the way our grandmothers would recognize. This balm is part of that promise: keeping the leather you trust in good shape.
What Is Tallow?
Tallow is a non-dairy fat derived from cows. We use only food-grade, pre-rendered tallow sourced from trusted suppliers. It naturally contains vitamins A, D, and E, along with essential fatty acids.
Our Infusion Process
We blend tallow with chamomile to create a balm that complements the leather of our chews. This conditioning blend helps keep the leather soft and naturally rich in holistic benefits
- Please note that Tallow has a low melting point and can liquify quickly. This may cause the clove and chamomile to start separating. If this should happen place in a cool place, once it is a creamy texture again, remix and store in fridge. The tin is not rusting if there is brown present, that is just the powder separating and needs remixed in. Still safe to use.
- Store in fridge or freezer.
